Wit’s End is first and foremost a cabin rental. All guest hosted events a strictly forbidden without owner approval and are subject to special pricing and additional rules. Please call or email us to set up a time to discuss your hopes and dreams for your big day.
There are 3-4 steps into the front door of the house. One king-size bedroom with private bathroom is on the main floor. The rest of the main floor is an open concept kitchen, dining area and living room.
No. The house is located off a paved road and the driveway is accessible by 2 wheel drive vehicles.
We have all 3 types of coffee makers on site; a Kuerig, a 2 basket drip coffee makers (w/ filters), and a large pot percolator.
The pond behind the house is not on our property and trespassing is prohibited. Fishing in the streams is permitted, but is regulated by the State of Georgia and requires a fishing license.

Wit’s End is our home away from home.
Please take care of the house, it’s furnishings, fixtures and the surrounding property.
No parking in the meadow and NO vehicles off the driveway or in the grass.
NO smoking in the house or on the porches.
Pool Table Rules:
1) NO sitting, leaning, climbing or standing on the table.
2) NO food or drink on the table.
3) Never move the table.
4) Never use pool equipment (balls, sticks, etc) for any reason other than to play pool.
Thank you! Fees for breaking these rules begin at $500.

****All the rules above regarding vehicles and parking apply to vendors as well. Please communicate clearly with them.
**** no vendors are allowed on the Wit’s End premises without written approval from the host. All deliveries and pickups by vendors MUST take place during the days/hours of the guest’s stay at Wit’s End. Vendor deliveries and pickups outside of the timeframe of one’s stay are prohibited.
Tips for parking:
Seriously, DO NOT ALLOW any of your guests to park in such a way that they block the passage of other vehicles along the circular driveway. If you or your guests block the driveway, it will cause all kinds of hassles for you, your guests and will detract from your enjoyment of your event.
